Anti-Aging Systems
There are so many anti-aging systems on the market today that they can be quite baffling. There are creams and cleansers and moisturizers and you may never be sure if you are using the right combination of products. Because of this many companies have created an anti-aging system that will give you everything you need in one box! There are many of these on the shelves as well but they all pretty much contain the same basic elements.
A cream consisting of amino acids will always appear in an anti-aging system. Not only do these amino acids work to help plump out the wrinkles that may already be on the skin but they also reduce the appearance of new ones. The amino acids also help the skin to retain moisture and that is also essential when working to slow the aging process. This component is called Argireline and this has much the same effect as Botox but instead of paralyzing facial muscles, it works to relax them.
There are also components in anti-aging systems that help to increase the amount of collagen in the skin. Collagen is a natural plumper and can help to fill in wrinkles. It’s been shown that not only does collagen help to plump wrinkles but it also helps with wrinkle density, wrinkle volume and wrinkle depth. The kits will also contain something to keep the pores free of old skin cells. When these skin cells build up, they start to clog pores and this can add to the look of aging. The last component is usually a topical ointment or lotion that will help with discoloration and even out skin tone. All anti-aging systems will vary somewhat but they are all generally the same. Some of the newer systems also come with a microdermabrasion brush but kits without this will also work very well.
